New at this so excuse my ignorance.  Where should I take the measurements for a shotgun shell belt and where for the double holster rig.  I'm about 5'10" with waist of 35-36 (175 lbs) and when I ordered a shotgun shell holder belt medium size it's too small and the double holster rig is adjustable but even around my hips or just above the holster seem too high.  I need a drop holster I think, but would like to make a better choice although where I bought it from will allow a return, which I though it was nice.  Thanks for any replies.

If you have access to a flexible measuring tape, such as for sewing, measure around where you want the belt to be. This measurement will be the center hole for your rig, allowing a few holes either way for fine adjustement.
If you want it on your hips, that is where to measure. Just be sure to measure over the top of your clothes you will be wearing when shooting.

The shotgun belt needs to be below your belly button, but above your pistol belt, so wherever on you that that measurement fits.
I hope I helped some. If not the others here will chime in and hopefully bail me out.
