Howdy pards. I have a fairly new '73 Uberti rifle ( the Texas Brush Popper) that I want to be able and take apart to clean it good and then put it back together wihout having parts left over. ::) However I'm not a gunsmith and have no experience doing this. Can any of you recommend a good disassembly book or brochure with illustration (actual photos are a lot better for me) for this gun? Much obliged.

I'd recommend the DVD Winchester 73 by Larry Crow.  Great video and illistrated instructions.  I have four of his films and a tv/dvd player in my shot.  works great.

Head over to Barnes & Noble's and get a copy of 'Gunsmithing the Guns of the Old West' - by Dave Chicoine.

He covers originals as well as reproductions and he's easy to follow.

It'll help...
