What works best for lining holsters?

Nice pics, WC. What I want more information on is those weights. What do you have in them? I have a couple shot-filled blueprint weights but those have a wow factor of +10. I'll have to make some.

Howdy MW
Those are filled with birdshot. Something to use up scrap leather on. The middle layers are hollow, I leave about
1/2 inch to get a good glue bond. They are great to set on patterns and tracing film so they don't move around.
I'll take pix of all of them and post when I can.

Thanks, Wayne. They have more class than mine that have the manufacturers name and part number written on them. I'll have to make a few of them. So far, I've been making coasters out of scrap but one can only use so many of those.

Thanks for the pics, Wayne. I especially appreciate the edge shot. I see about 5 layers of leather there allowing room for the shot but still keeping it flat. Much appreciated. I guess I'll have to think about a few of those.

It all depends on the leathe. If all you have is thin scrapes then it takes more layers.
