I like it, but for a "character gun" only. It probably doesn't weigh much more than my Shopkeepers model SAA I carry CCW on occasion.

I made this for a sheriff character I sometimes portray, or put ivories on it for my wife when she's in costume.

I ran across one of your older post a few minutes ago when I was browsing through the back pages and I too like your avatar. Did you ever get you one made....the third picture looks pretty close.

it's in the works as we speak,i'm going to add a top rib to mine made from the extra barrel, but i want the target front sight not the standard one.and i also am going to buy an extra triggerguard so i can make a fitzgerald special (pic below),and some additional fine tuning.

Respectfully,

mike

Here's an original, although not mine. It is a navy conversion.  8)

you know what the funniest thing is about that other forum.  It starts out about blackpowder and how you can't do a quick reload... umm, it says it has a 45LC r&d conversion cylinder!  You can go smokeless, have quick reload, etc.

I am very familiar with the Fitz Special. I have quiet a bit of research and articles on it as I have the intentions of making one myself but I am going to stick close to the original with a small frame .38 S&W

Yeah Willie I thought the same thing...but the even funnier thing is that I ran across that page by typing "muzzloading shotgun" into google and I ran across the picture of this gun while looking through the results. You never know what might pop up at anytime. I'm glad it did though because I think it's really cool and now I want to do one like it. ;D
