it looks near identical to rapine 520375 mould except rear driving band is slitly thicker i have very good sucess with this in original spencer with black pouder but found it has not got enough lube for rifle lenth barell but workes realy well with trail boss pouder

I can tell you right now that if you're shooting REAL BP that the lube rings are too small on that bullet if the drawing is accurate.

if it is the same bullet ,measurments are same i can only get 6 shots of before acuracy deterats using montana armory B.P.C lube and its the best BP lube i have used so far thats in a original spencer with slow twist good for target work if you clean often

Georgia Redleg:   I use the 350gr. 3 groove,  Lyman bullet and SPG in the carbine and rifle without significant fouling problems. I notice that after 10-12 shots the pattern shoots a little lower in the rifle than in a clean barrel.  I have acquired a  Lyman mold #515141  (item#2640141). It makes a similiar bullet but @ 425 grains  is long enough to benefit from the faster twist of the Armisport Spencer. The grease grooves are adequate for black powder loads.  I will be testing it shortly. Remember .....the inside of the Starline case is tapered and the OAL can only be so long and work through the magazine.  Bigger bullets can be had, but may not seat deep enough in the case and still chamber.    Hoot

I appreciate the feedback.  Seems no one has used this particular bullet.  I have contacted BAC and they are looking for a quality supplier for this bullet.  I will keep checking with them and will post results.

Hoot, I look forward to the results of your experimenting and thanks for the info on the farrier files.
