.50-95 Uberti 76  ;D

Oh lordy, this rifle is beautiful.  The fit, wood and balance are much better than I expected.  The Taylor's crew were really nice and helpful and a pleasure to do business with.  They arranged for a local dealer to handle the transaction, then drove the rifle over to his shop where we wrapped things up.  They have a small but well stocked showroom where my compadre and I slobbered over an assortment of fine weaponry.

If a trip to Winchester Virginia is within your driving range, I highly recommend a road trip.  Its great to be able to pick out the rifle you want and ask questions before you buy.

Now I need to look at sights, dies, brass, bullets.....too bad Buffalo Arms is not within road trip range ;)

You're absolutely right about Taylor's.  I've bought 2 Remington NMA's, a Henry, and a custom 1863 Sharps from there, and highly recommend them - great customer service.  Unfortunately for me, I pass them on the way to/from work. In fact, my wife has permanently banned me from their showroom.  Seems every time I go in there, I come out with something.

Congratulations on your new 50-95, ndnchf!  Sounds like she's a beauty! ;)

You are correct about the folks at Taylors.  First class outfit all the way. :)

I have been trying to find a '76 rifle in 50-95, would you please post Taylors web site so I could get in contact with them. Good Shooting
