Ukrainian Beech Combination Windage Front Sight 3/8 Dovetail

I was interested in mounting a Beech front sight on my Uberti 1876 and found this listed on Buffalo Arms catalogue.  Does anyone on this forum have any experience with this type and manufacturer of front sight?  if so, what are your opinions.

I have no experience with it but I'll throw out my thoughts....

The windage adjustment makes that sight look clunky.  The '76 is not a target rifle, although it can be pressed into service for informal target shooting.  The combination of windage adjustment on a Beech seems like they are trying to make a hunting/informal target sight into a multi-purpose, do anythng, Swiss Army knife type sight. 

I like a Beech sight, but I would stay with the traditional version, BACO has that one too.

I don't know about this particular front sight, but I did buy a Ukrainian rear sight from Buffalo Arms for my 1876 when I could not get the one made by Smith's.  I was very happy with it.  It is extremely well machined and well made-- it was a quality product.
