Making new to old

I just purchased a new pair of spur straps and it does not quite complement my old spurs.  Do you have any suggestions on how to make the leather look old and well used?

There is no single or simple one-step process for aging leather to make it look like the real McCoy - believe me I know after 40+ years I'm still learning, but this will get you started....

-6 right now with -9 expected for a low. Tomorrow a high of 10!! Will feel warm compared to now. NOT. Love Nebraska weather. grrr.

Well I think I can beat that!

Right now at 307 PM CST it's 4 below with and expected low on Tues of -35  and a high of - 10!!!!!

It's too cold to even breath!!!!!!
