I'm NOT disputing RCJ; this is just what I've heard/read.

I think it's on the Blockade Runner website, but maybe somewhere else, but they recommend doing the wax thing to a new tin canteen.  I think I can nearly quote them here: (sic) "You have now doubled the life of your tin canteen."

I have decided to wax my canteen with Bees wax . It's all natural and I know that is pc ? This canteen holds a 1/2 gallon will take on my hunting trip .

I decided to use the Bees wax because it was a all natural product . And that's got to be better than the Epoxy resin which is SUPPOSED to be safe , at least for today .
