I had some .45 cal. bullets. Use them loading AutoRims for my Webleys.

When ordering a bunch of stuff from Cabelas or Midway I alway add on a few items that I "might need someday". So on one order a while back I added on a set of .45 Long Colt dies.

On another order I figure I'd better add on some .45 Long Colt brass, . . . after all, . . what use is those dies if'n I don't have any brass ? , . . and I might as well have some of those nice "old fashioned" boxes for 'em while I was at it.

Then recently a pard offers a cartridge / pistol belt on the classifieds with .45 cal. loops. A good buy, . . so I get it. It is nice. . . used, but just enough used to give it character, . . but it has a couple of nickle conchos that weren't mentioned, . . nice, . . so since I have it, . . . I might as well get a holster for it, . . and the conchos that I'd never have thought of having on my leather are a bit unique, . . so I inquire about getting more, . . find some, . . then a pard offers a bunch of ones made of real nickles, . . . and those would be better, . . and he has more than I need, . . . so I better buy 'em all while I have the chance as I may need more someday, . . .

So, . . . I'd better start watching for a .45 Long Colt conversion cylinder for one of my Pietta '58 Remingtons.

So, . . I need one. What have ya got ? . . .

. . . . . the loading gate version ?
. . . . or the other kind that had the lift off rear end with the firing pins ?
. . . . or even an early one that is not SASS approved ?
. . . . . . . ( Ok fur me cus I'll use it with blanks for reeneactment not for competition shooting. )

Let me know what ya got that ya want to part with.

And also always interested in another Pietta '58.
. . . . ( steel frame prefered, . . but maybe another brass one as well. )

Found what I was looking for, . . . thanks for looking . . . .

Good shootin', . . . .  :)
Beware the man with one gun, he probably knows how to use it.
