??? ??? i am afraid that what little brian I had is gone :o so I think I need to have someone drill a hole in my head and look in there to see if there is anything in there ::) ::)
One ne of my holster I have done, I used my rope stamp, before I used it, somewhere along the way I have a paper copy of how to use that tool at the proper angle! I have spend 3 hours total looking for it with no luck  >:(
The first time I used my rope tool I didn't do the best job, but not to bad ::) After not finding my instruction sheet, I spend 1 hr. yesterday stamping on a peice of scrap and no matter what angle I tried, it didn't look right :( . Does anyone have that sheet that they could post? (R956) I also have the R875 Craftool Rope Stamp, but I never could figure out how to use it  ???
I would be most greatfull ?

I know how you feel, the rope tool can be a real PIA to do right.

Thank you for bringing that image back up, 10W. I had completely forgotten about it. That's a cool way to do a rope effect and I may have to try that on a border one of these days. I went to Potgeiter's site and found the section that explains this technique. Here's that section along with a few other tips that may be of interest to some of the pards here.

LOL, I think he transposed the "a" and the "i". I read that as "what little brain".

I have two guys who work for me, both named Brian. If I had a dollar for every time I've messed the A & I up I'd be a rich man!

Sorry Guys, Brian is my little brother! And I am so used to wriying his name, that I am Brain dead!! Thanks for the posted articles, but those are note the one I had a copy of! It was a old Tandy how to! It isn't gone, I have just missed placed it! I think I will take some scrap and see how that method works!
Thanks Pards!

Howdy Ace,

I can understand your frustration. The very first stamp I ever tried was a "Rope" stamp. It looked so bad that I almost quit then and there before completing my first holster.

Many thanks to Ten Wolves & Marshall Will for posting those helpful links.

I had an English teacher that used to say: I would rather have a bottle in front of me, than a frontal lobotamy.

Glad you found it Ace!!! DM
