Convention locations ... back in Council Bluffs, IA?

When will the next NCOWS convention be held in Council Bluffs?

My wife and I made it there a couple years back. I would like to go again, but, having to drive the whole clan much further in the middle of winter is a bad idea. (coming from MN)

just curious.

BTW: I had to take the whole friggin summer off from shooting. A son arrived and we were plenty busy with the 2 girls we already have. No regrets, but, NCOWS/SASS events on the weekends were put on hold. HOPEFULLY, I can make a return to the sport this next season.

  The Convention moves randomly. It just depends on which posse want to take on the job of putting it on. As far as winter goes, we have put the date back to late Mar. to try to get away from Blizzard chances. So maybe you could make it to Kansas City Mar 20.

Driving from Minnesota to Council Bluffs is acceptable, but Kansas City is too far?

And the idea of anyone from Minnesota not liking to drive in the winter is laughable.  Do you not leave your house for six months out of the year? (I spent most of a winter in Minneapolis once, only Antarctica could be worse.)

Your only possible complaint would be excessive wear on your snowmobile when you get too far south.

Dakota, if you can make it to Kansas City you won't regret it.  As much as I enjoyed Council Bluffs the Kansas City convention was better in my opinion.

 I am in the middle of nowhere. It takes about another twenty minutes to get to KC as opposed to Council Bluffs, so the locations are about equal.  The convention in KC was great last year, by the way, and the Reardon Center was ideal. The drive back north was no fun though. 4 hours for a 2 hour trip! Late March should be better we hope.
