It pains me to announce that ' The Spot ' as well as ' The Rugged '  are no longer available . Our server has crashed for the last time and we will no longer rebuild the system to remain online. I thank all, who have in the past, been so patient and been part of those two boards, but it is just not something El Cajon and I wish to continue. So it Adios to the old boards and thank goodness for 'The Marshal and Marshalette for this board!!!

  Sorry to hear this, the site will be missed, You will have to camp out here in Cas City, and we're glad to have you, it's like they say NOTHING IS FOREVER, we just have to enjoy things while we can.

TFS was the first CAS forum I joined.  Then I joined others, and here we are.  I will miss it but the spirit lives on!

Well, we have a great pard in Marshal Halloway. I was on the Cas-L list, then the Wire, then TFS. I look back to a lot of smiles and a few tears. I'll never forget Gunny Sackett or Suzy Silknickers. We have had some up times and a few down times.

What is really rewarding is running into cyber pards at matches. It seems to happen more and more to me. It feels like we have known each other a long time.

I fully understand the work that goes into these great sites. EC has a different agenda nowadays and that is why TFS is now gone. I'll do what I can to keep interest right here though.

Well...nuts.  Didn't contribute a whole lot, but it was sure fun to watch sometimes. 

Meantime, I know most of the CAS boards generally take a hands-off approach to politicking (no complaints there  ) but if any of the old debaters are interested in keeping the choc-lit cake in circulation I can offer a possible alternative.  It ain't cowboy so much, but it does generally have a retrocentric feel.  And it covers some more contemporary topics that probably wouldn't fit in too well on the boards such as we have here. 

Of course you don't have to be political to come pay us a visit.  We like new faces one way or the other.
