Sight regulation on my Rodeo.

Good mornin' gents! I wanted to get an opinion from you guys. I bought a used rodeo last year that shoots 2 inches left at 10 yards. I have eleminated all of the variables, including operator error and bullets. I reload and I have tried it all to no avail. I have considered having a local smith turn the barrel. I have also considered opening up the rear sight groove to the right some (I don't think I could make up for 2 inches at 10 yards though). I sent USFA an email and they asked that i send the gun to them. I REALLY hate to be without my favorite sidearm, but it could be best to let the factory look at it.

I would appreciate any opinions you guys have as to what you might suggest I do.

I would definitely call Gary Grainger at USFA.  The barrel needs turned and I can not think of anyone better to do it than the guys who built it.  I know there are plenty of fine gunsmiths that could do it, however, in any event something else might be wrong, or could go wrong, it is best delt with at the factory.  "Bite the Bullet" and send it back.

I agree with Doc, send it back to USFA.  As it is shooting left, the barrel will have to be turned into the frame which will require some delicate lathe work.  Probably would be best to leave it in the hands of those who do this kind of work on a daily basis.
