Howdy All
Had a good day at the So. Ca. Fair yesterday. Our guild went out and did demos all day. It's fun to see the
looks on peoples faces when you tell them " No it's not just one big stamp"
I also got a first place with my big D Guard Bowie sheath and a Best of Show for my BP rig.
Here are a few pix.

Howdy Bow View,

To answer your question the block he is using is a 12" x 12" x 1 1/2" piece of granite.  Tandy Part No. 32228-00, Pg. 29 of the current catalog.

WC hope you don't mind me answering him on this.

Outstanding, WC. 1st and BOS. Congrats, pard. Those are some very, very nice pieces. It looks like the fair was a lot of fun. I commend you all for ressurrecting the club guild the way you have. At least I assume it's your guild represented there.

You didn't step on my toes....

It was our guild out there. The local guild out there does nothing. Only one of their members even
entered anything. He came out and helped demo also. It was a 15 min drive for them and 2 hrs for us. Go
figure.....
It was fun. We've been there 2 years in a row now and will be there next year.
It's all about keeping leather craft alive.

It would be fun I was closer. We don't have anything organized like that around here that I know of.

Hey Will, new guy JD here. Is there anyone active on this forum from the Northwest, say Portland-Vancouver area? If so I'd sure like to get to know them. Thanks.

WC, very nice work. I really like the tool pouch you've got there in front of you. That makes a lot of sense. I've put together a tackle box, but that looks cooler!

Thanks, JD

JD, I don't know of anyone specifically from that area but if there is, they'll surely chime in when they see your post.
