Marshal Will Wingam

I've always liked skeleton rigs. One of these days I'll make one for a carry rig.

SCORRS     SASS     BHR     STORM #446

St. George

'Half-Breed', or spring-clip holsters first saw real use in the 1890's - prior to that, a 'pouch' style was developed.

They were designed to conceal the piece - and they do that job well - especially the Half-Breed' rigs.

The problem is that you need to wear them 'tight', so as to facilitate the draw, and most rigs today - including these from the River Junction Trading Co. catalog - don't allow the ease of adjustment.

If you get one or make one - be certain that you figure out your strap and buckle so as to be adjusted 'after' you slip it on, and not preadjusted as these are.

It'll make your life easier...
