I have to make some quick and easy items for some give-aways at a group I belong to. I want something that doesn't take more than an hour to whip out. I've made a few coasters with holster stampings on them to give you an idea of what I'm looking at. Other than coasters or a key fob, I'm at a loss as to what else to make. It would be good to have a little variety in the nature of these items. I don't have a sewing machine so stitching needs to be minimal. anyone have any suggestions?

how about bandana slides, Don

That's a good idea. Napkin rings also would come to mind with that. Much appreciated.

one of the leather crafters and saddle journal mags had a pattern for a wallet that did not require sewing.
you folded it together, it had tabs that would lock in place so no sewing required.

if i remember right it was in the 70s mags.

might want to do some belts as there is no sewing involved. you could go to tandy and get the prestamped ones

forgot to add you could also do a cowboy hat band. no need for sewing. use a concho to secure it or use a very small buckle set.

Those are some more good ideas. I do need to keep it to a minimum since lots of leather can get expensive and lots of sewing can take more time than I want to put in. Great input, pards. I appreciate it.

Do you know the names of who are getting the gifts, are they cowboy shooters?  I'm thinking oval, round or whatever name tags, something they could install on on a guncart, luggage, etc...

I picked up some buckskinny/suede material a while back for next to nothing, made 10 fringed ball bags in an evening.   quick and easy, makes for good change carrier, etc.   just a thought.

How about some wild rag or scarf slides, you could make a pattern  for them , and then put a little stamping on them, they look kewl, and even though their usually sewed, you can skip that and just throw a rivet into them.          tHESE ARE NEAT, YOU WOULDN'T HAVE TO USE BEADS, JUST SOME STAMPING, AND A RIVET

Boy, lots of good ideas, pards. This is helping quite a bit. As to names, I don't even know what gender will get these things so they need to be universal in appeal. I really appreciate the input.

Howdy WC,
Those Boot Key Case's are really nifty! What a great way to display your work and talents.
