Tom Sargis 1-piece grips..any experience?

I was thinking about sending a pair of USFA SA's to Tom Sargis to have custom walnut grips fitted.  Any experience on the quality of work done?  Is the fit seemless and perfect like the factory USFA grips?  I really am only interested if I can get a near perfect fit.  Otherwise the cost of grips and shipping costs wouldn't be worth it to me.
