Col. Pitsptr Sir:  This may have already been addressed somewhere else but I would be interested in any and all information concerning such incidentals at the Muster as: bedding (do we bring our own and,if so, what?), storage of mess gear, toiletries and additional clothing (appropriate storage supplied or just throw it under the bunk?) and anything else you think we might need to be aware of.

I'm Glad you asked Col.

Bring your own bedding, tin plates, cups, towels, ect. A flash light (for any nocturnal visits to the latrine) might be handy.
There are hooks above the bunks for hanging extra clothing.
If you have heel plates or hobnails on your boots please bring something else to wear while you are inside the barracks so that we don't wear out the floor.
Please don't bring any fire wood. We're going to try to do without the heating stoves, but if we do need them there is already firewood on the premises. Delmonico, the Superintendant says they need to use up the firewood they have cut, so you don't need to bring any either.
Does anyone play the bugle and/or the drums? If so, please bring them to use at "colors" ect.
There are a few nonlocking footlockers, or bring your own if you choose. There probably won't be many tourists visiting the fort at this time of year, but we'll want to have the appearance of the barracks as period correct as possible while we're at the range. Also bigger items and your blankets ect will be safe enough while we're at the range as the GAF commisary staff will be in or near the barracks most of the time and there will be park personel attending the post while we're gone but I wouldn't leave small items that might "walk away" to temp the few tourists who might visit. We've never had much problem with that and if someone is going to steal something, there are a lot more valuable items on display than what you'd have out, but why take the chance.

I'll add to this list in the next few days, but I'm running out of time this morning.
