I went and did it again. Just laid away another gun. This one is a Uberti 66 carbine. Had some friends show my wife there guns and let her shoot them. So she decided to get into the shooting side of sass. I have a 73 euroarms carbine, but I thought she would like this better. This is a nice little gun. and she likes the weight. She does want a tang sight installed. This being a 38 verses a 357 does have an advantage of down loading and used brass availability.

Yep, the wife is just excited about it. Now I can't make up my mind to keep the 73 or sell it and at what price?

I enjoy my 66, I have had 2 problems this year with it, 1. I lost the trigger pin, when I was trying to figure out why it was going going off when I levered it I put a round over a berm, my error, didn't find the problem right away, now I always check to make sure the trigger pin is in. Number 2 is the loading gate broke on me, this is a problem with some of the 66's, I had a heavy duty loading gate installed, also am having another one reinforced and will carry it with me just in case.
