Buffing leather dye(from motorcycle sissy bar bag is 95% done)

Howdy All
There was some questions about buffing leather on another thread so I'm posting these pix of what
can happen when you buff too soon.
I stopped the drying process by buffing early and got a nice old time look.

do you use wool to buff out the leather dye?

     WOW WC, that looks great , I just caught your post , what a good look , I'm going to give this a shot, it has a natural wear pattern, did you use a Dremmel, or a large buffer? LOOKS GOOD PARD  ;) ::) :o 8)

Howdy All
I buff with a piece of Sheeps wool. You can use an old sock, t shirt etc. Anything soft that won't scratch.
