Chaparral Arms

Anyone here familiar with or own any lever action rifles made/imported by Chaparral arms? I'm looking at an 1873 Winchester they offer at a fairly reasonable price. I have an Uberti Henry and I really like the quality and workmanship of the Uberti's...just wondering if I can expect the same from Chaparral?

If you go to the SASS wire and do a search you will find a lot on the Chaparrals.  9 out of 10 posts are that they are good looking on the outside but pretty poorly fitted on the inside.  Of course, then there's that tenth person that says they are OK.

   All I know is I would love to pick up a 1876 and would like to save a few dollars on one.Ill wait till I can afford one from Uberti,or do without.                       Adios  Sgt. Jake
