Well, here I am looking for answers again. At this point I need a cartridge belt. It will need loops for 44 mags and 12 ga. shotgun shells.  I have a vague idea of how to start but what I need is specific info. How tolay it out for one and what is the best way to sew? Or would I be better off doing the laced loops like I have seen and lining the belt?
What is the general opinion of the forum?

Outrider posted these back last year in "Show us your stuff". Scroll down to find his post.

Here are his measurements for shotgun loops.

Outstanding Sir Charles, I don't know why I couldn't find that with the search but at any rate I thank you kindly that is what I needed.

Sir Charles,

Thanks I had forgotten that I had posted that stuff...you know "sometimers"....anyway thanks.  Actiually this is addressed in the FAQ thread that the Marshal had popsted.  several of us put in information on bullet loops.

Outrider, It would help if I was running this computor instead of it running me. But I did find it this time and i am just glad you guys are here to help.
I guess there isn't an easy way to sew them except gettin' someone else to do it right. ;)

Marshall;  I had forgotten that one.  Actually, it makes a package with outriders SUGGESTED dimensions,  I stress suggested, as we should do a check BEFORE punching a buncha wholes, and stitchin' hour fingers ta da bone!

You're right about it being a good package deal. Thanks for remembering that post by Outrider. I'll add his information to the other thread for future reference.

I need to make one of those yet. It's a good idea.

10 minutes later:
OK, it's in the thread on Cartridge Loops, now. that'll help for others in the future.
