TV LAND TO AIR WYATT EARP SERIES

Here's the gist of an email received from western author Johnny Boggs:

The Life & Legend of Wyatt Earp is a wonderful, historically based series created in 1954 and it deserves to be back on the air. It had a 7 year run - - and was never out of the top 10. All of us loyal Western fans need to keep the genre going. TV Land will test the series for 6 consecutive weekends starting February 5th. Wyatt will air from 3:30-4:30 EST and PST and 2:00-3:00pm CST. If TV Land's average ratings are margionally increased they have agreed to broadcast all 226 episodes. Consequently it is imparative that we get people to tune in.

Kate Edelman Johnson announced today that TV Land has acquired the original "Wyatt Earp" TV series and will air for 6 consecutive weekends starting February 5th, 3:00PM-4:00PM EST & PST and 2:00PM-3:00PM CST, positioned between "Bonanza" and "Gunsmoke". Johnson, daughter of Louis F. Edelman who created and produced the series in 1954, is delighted that TV Land has offered this opportunity to western fans. "It is a wonderful, historically correct series that ran for 7 years and was never out of the top 10", she added. Subject to the average ratings coming in at .48, TV Land has agreed to buy and broadcast all 226 episodes.

Now I don't know how TV Land finds out if we're watching, I suspect it has something to do with that V-chip thing
If you want these shows on TV you'll have to support 'em. Apparently the most important item of support is just to watch them...now that's not too much to ask is it?
