The final round count is:

96 Rifle
61 Pistol
4 Shotgun (provided)

(Shooter will want to bring extra ammunition as some targets REQUIRE hits and misses are not an option)

Thanks for catching this one for me Dusty, This round count does not include side matches.

I was wondering what the round count for the Wild bunch match is.  Need to get some lead .45 auto loaded up.  Is a Llama copy of a 1911 OK?  it's nothing special, uses standard mags, but has a 2-tone finish.  And Is a hammerless Double shotgun OK for the Wildbunch?  The registration form mentions Pumps but not doubles.
Thanks

Honestly Bow View, I've never even seen a Wild Bunch match so I can't help you with your question about the double vs. the '97. And since I've never seen one, I've handed off the stage writing on it and don't know the round count. Sorry I can't be more help at this point,

Any more info on the wild bunch match?

Also I was just wondering if my 1917 enfield in .30-06 would fit in anywhere with ammo loaded down to CAS specs?

Bow View, I'm not the final word ... but no.

(Dang it.  I'd love to shoot mine, too!)

Last I heard, it has to be pre 1900, EXCLUDING '98 Mausers.  Now, I'm not 100% sure about Wild Bunch matters - I think it (supposedly) takes place 1911-1913 or so.  Which allows 1911 Colts and P08s. (IF you can get your P08 to feed lead ammo, that is.)

I was maiinly sondering about the 1917 for the wild bunch match cause it say the cut off is 1917.  unless it is being limited to pistol caliber rifles only like SASS?  But this ain't SASS.  It could bring a whole new twist to the wild bunch match.
I know I think to much.  I'll be loading up some lead .45ACP for my Llama 1911 copy and probably shoot the '92 rossi .357 and the old Sidexside for the Wild bunch.

Actually Steel Horse,
Bring your 1917. Yours is at least the third request, including the land owner,  to use a 1917 in the wild bunch side stages. (how do you tell the guy he can't use his gun on his own land? ;) ) Therefore I'm making a 1 time exception to allow rifles manufatured up to 1917 in the wild bunch match provided they are loaded to CAS energy specs. The round count for the wild bunch match will be 50 rifle 50 pistol and 25 shotgun or/probably less. Major Matt has volunteered to write the Wild Bunch match so you may want to address questions reguarding it to him.

Thank you for the information Sir.

How does some trailboss behind a 165 gr lead bullet sound for .30-06?

The bullet weight is fine. Be sure to check with IMR about the combination. I don't have access to the information needed to make a recomendation about that.

Going to be looking at 3 stages.  Don't know the exact round count yet, but if you plan on 50/50/25 you will have more than enough.  We have a time constraint and the match will be held on Friday Morning.  I believe Jerry has other activities planned for Friday afternoon.

1 Pistol, 1 Rifle, 1 Shotgun.

Looking at having two catagories.  One for Lever Rifle and one for Bolt Rifle.  If someone can provide some 9MM lead Ammo, I have a P-08 Luger that would be a nice staged pistol.  Please email me or leave me a PM as I don't have access from work to check CAS City and by the time I get home, the absolute LAST thing I want to do is get infront of a computer.

Dang!  I thought the Wild Bunch match was listed for Friday afternoon (1pm).  I don't know if we can get there much before 11 on Fri.  Keep us updated.
