Is this book still in print?  If so or not , how much should I expect to pay for one?  Thanks.

Given that it was published a week ago - I suppose it's still in print.

Look for it at Amazon - under 'Remington Revolvers' - you'll pay between $40.95 - $65.

Boy is my face red! :-[  Saw one on Gunbroker for $65, so I assumed out of print.  Checked Amazon and did not see it, so I assumed.....  Did not notice if there was a publish date in the GB ad.  Got a new one off Amazon for $40.95 and added the new Remington history to the order while I was at it.

thought about getting one myself but for the books I have bought in the past month, I could have purchased a conversion cylinder!!!!!

Two points:

1. The book contains nothing on the 1875, 1888 or 1890 Models.

2.  I got an e-mail form Don Ware's daughter a month or so ago & he is dying and may very well be deceased as I type.

Don is still very much among us, but he isn't doing well. An article came out yesterday on him and his Remington work in his local paper. See http://www.eclassifiedsnetwork.com/content.aspx?Module=Quickpage&ID=1977&MemberID=1254

Remington Army and Navy Revolvers can be ordered from University of New Mexico Press. I don't think Don has any more at his place.
