I tell you these old west model guns sure are addictive.  I was just looking again at the summer issue of "Guns of the Old West"and their article on the 2008 Shot Show.  As you all know, there is a beautiful picture of the USFA Remington 1875 at the start of the article.  I figure from what I've seen and heard, and not heard, that they may be delivering around December (first part of Christmas wish).  Next, what I want is a USFA nickel 7.5" barreled 1875 with real ivory grips!

Now, I'm thinking that the .44 WCF would be more historically accurate?  Would you go with the .44WCF or the .45 Colt?  Well, just did some more research and it appears that although the 1875 was first introduced in .44 Remington, it was later offered in .44-40 and .45 Colt.  So same question then, .44WCF or .45 Colt?

So December is the new wish date?   We shall see.

Don,

That's just my wish date :)  I have no way of knowing what USFA has for a release date.

Oh ok.  I thought you had heard something new from USFA.   I am not holding my breath at this point.
