China Camp has passed

Posted today on Belle Alley and SASS Wire, China Camp ( Dennis Ming) passed away this morning due to a massive heart attack.
Our sport has lost one of it's greatest representitives.

I can't believe it has happened!!!  I met Dennis several years ago at EOT and talked to him every time I was down there.  My thoughts and prayers go out to his entire family.

I didn't know Dennis personally, but I always enjoyed hearing what he had to say, and I feel I'm lucky to have him and his family on video, I know one thing , he was highly thought of and did a lot for this sport, and he loved his family dearly. No one will ever replace China Champ in our hearts, and he will be missed for sure.

Me and Old Top shot on the Ming Family Posse several times, and he was always an easy going quiet GENTLEMAN. However on one day he was experiencing an unusual number of squibs. He was still much more composed than I would have been.

Sorry to hear this.  I always enjoyed watching him on some of the earlier SASS EOT videos.

I am much saddened to hear of this.  I met China Camp at EOT many years ago, and found that he was always a class act, even when he was "Top Dog" in the game; he always had some time to speak, and visit a bit.  He was truly an asset to the sport, and a fine ambassador for SASS, and shooters everywhere.  I found myself thinking of him just the other day.

Dang it is hard to lose a good friend. I am going to miss him a lot. My prayers go up for him, Prarie Weet, Sweetwater and family. He was always so giving to everyone. He will be sorely missed that is for certain.
It is more than shooting in CAS, it is about friends and fine people.
