the 1st holster post the post about 1911 holster got me thinkin.

I dont have my first holster anymore. got mad and tossed it into fire when i couldnt even get a 22 to fit it.
i tried to make it for my 357 sec 6 ruger.

this holster happens to be my 4th holster and its for my dad's 1911.
the belt is my 2nd belt.
it took me 2 months to find and win the buckle on ebay.
the laced edge is also the 1st time i laced a holster.
made this setup back in december 2002. gave to me dad on christmas.

Sawed off?  Have you priced leather lately?  Some of these old boys can't afford a full length holster.

Those holsters aren't sawed off. They're just not as slim as they could be. Short Jims. Or fat ones.
