Billl, in your monthly matches, do you use one or two handguns? I know working cowboy only uses one, but the other classes. TJ

Howdy!

Texas Jack, we're easy.  Ya wanna shoot 2 pistols, rifle and shotgun? Then OK.

Ya wanna shoot only 1 pistol and rifle?  That's OK, too.

Our scenarios tend to be very informal and adaptable.  Since we're generally a small crowd, it's easy to find something for everyone.  Sometimes we have written scenarios ... sometimes not.  We tend often to look at our set-ups more toward the hunting scenarios (VERY loosely) and less as the "you vs. 25 bad guys" stages.  As we grow and include some fixed "stage fronts" I'm sure things will formalize, but for now, it's all about the fun of shooting, and fellowship.  With a little bit of good-natured ribbing, of course!  Mostly, we have shot more "Working Cowboy" type setups and target numbers, but not always!  We've got shotgun targets, multiple pistol and pistol caliber rifle targets, with some reactive and "middle range" distance targets.  Then, there is the "Woods Walk" which generally follows the "Main Match."  Generally we shoot 6 stages.

Bring lawyers, guns, and money ...

Oh, wait - that's a great old song.

But don't forget the guns 'n ammo.

For you music trivia lovers, I referred to "Lawyers, Guns & Money"  by the late Warren Zevon.

I resemble that remark!  But I am now retired on half time private practice, so wouldn't be available except for every second shooter, and that wouldn't be fair!

:o :o :o :o :o

Only if they want to volunteer.  (They MIGHT volunteer to be a target for me ... after they see me shoot.)  ;)

Well, Sir Chas. - we must stay fair to everyone, so ...

Heck we'd just be tickled if you could make it down here to shoot with us!  I promise that if you make the trip, no one will shoot at ya.

Intentionally.
