Looking to buy either one in any length. I know I can get one from VTI, but thought one of you might have one you'd be willing to part with.

Clint, dont know what you're planning on doing with em; but, they're not interchangeable.  The '61 barrel fits a '51, '60 sized frame and the '62 barrel fits a pocket model sized frameframe.

Fiingers:

You are correct for Uberti, but in the Pietta, they use the 51 frame for the 1862 as well. That's how they get six shots in the cylinder. Right now I have a Pietta 1860 with the 1862 barrel and Kirst 38LC Converter on it and it fits and shoots like a champ. Would like to find an 1861 barrel to go on the smaller 1862 (51) frame (grips actually).

Yeah, I forgot Pietta chopped the barrel and fluted the cylinder on a '61 Navy and called it a 1862  :-[.  Them danged repros of guns that never were.  ;D ;D ;D
