There is both a Chaparral short rifle and the standard 28", either can be had for $820!

There is also a Uberti rifle in .45-60 with outstanding wood. No reserve, and the price is currently 700 dollahs Amelican!  :o

Jump on 'em boys! The feller with the Uberti won't sell to us Californios, and I am still a bit leary of the Chaparrals, but durn good prices!

Ya know, after I posted, that thought did cross my mind. I am sure sorry if you are bidding on it. I was all set to go until I read that darn "we don't need you if you are from California" garbage.

Makes me soooo mad. How do these folks think they are helping us, when the play right into the hands of Cal DOJ. DOJ does not want folks to deal with us, but they can't legally forbid, just make it a bit more difficult.  AGH!

I will send you pictures of my smiling face!

Retirement is 604 days away. We will leave this vale of tears then. Mebbeso Idaho or Wyoming. Even went back home to New Hampshire last year for a look-see up close to the Canadian border. We haven't made our final decision yet, but with two younkers in tow, it had better be a good one, 'cause I don't want to settle them down again.
