any IDPA shooters

Been shooting idpa matches for about 2 years, always the day after a cowboy match.i shoot a kimber 1911. Not sure if its hurtin or helpin my cowboy shootin.But its not my intention to do either, whats you thoughts?

Shootin is shootin.  The skills you learn in IDPA will help you in Cowboy.

I don't shoot IDPA myself, but do shoot IPSC and Steel Challenge.

 I've been shooting IDPA for a few years (member # A00065) While I don't shoot it as much as I did, I still enjoy it. CAS shooting has not been any effect on my IDPA shooting skills.

I just got started shooting IDPA last fall (10/04) and I enjoy it alot!
I use the FN Hi-power that my wifey got for me .
She's a good wife!!!
