Hi Everybody! :)

I have a new in the package set of Wolff reduced power springs for a Stevens/savage/fox model 311.  It includes firing pin springs, release lever spring, and sear spring.  If anyone needs them drop me a PM and I will send them snail mail for FREE!  Someone might as well get some use out of them as they WILL NOT fit the Stevens Model 315 I have and I cannot return them.

Sure wish I had seen this before I did this job.  Took me 15 minutes to get the shotgun apart and 8 hours to get it back together.  Those lighter hammer springs are still a bear, grizzly that is.

Yeah, your'e right about the springs.  Amazingly enough the stevens 315 is easier to work on but don't let anybody tell you the 311 parts will fit.  I ended up cutting about 2 coils out of each of them just so I could get the gun to stay open all the way.  Cut out about 2 1/2 coils from the release lever spring too.  Made it a whole lot easier.

I was a coward and left the release spring alone. the gun opened so that was good enough for me.  In the end the addition of the springs and the part from the 511 ended most of my fight with using the 311.
