My baby just had a baby today and made me a grandpa!  Yea haw.  Guess I should feel old but I'm just proud.  Fine baby boy,  Garrett Thomas Cahoone, sounds like a strong Cowboy name.  Now I just have to come up with his alias.  Already have his first pistol,  Ruger 50th Anniversary Single Six 22, when he gets big enough.  Well got to get up early in the morning.  Good night y'all.

Congrats. I have 3 Grandaughters after raising 2 sons. I love being a grandpa.

Congratulations Marshal!!  When I first found out I was going to be a grandpa I didn't think I was ready for that.  Boy was I wrong.   That was over 13 years ago and both of my grandkids live with us.

Congratulations, MM, and welcome to a not-so-exclusive group of folks; there are an awful lot of us around.  I never felt like I was getting older - milestone birthdays and such just sailed right on by, without too much notice - until my first Grandbaby came along.  When my Bride called me from the hospital to tell me I was a Grandpap, I felt that I had finally gotten "old", and that hurt.  I've gotten used to it, now, though - four times over.  I know you'll enjoy the little one; they are a source of joy and pride.

Thanks y'all.  Finally got to see him last night, good looking kid but awful tiny.  Can't wait to start teachin him all the important things like shootin and fishin :D.  Guess he'll learn to fish first.  He can start that much younger than shootin.  Yep, I'll probably spoil him a bit, then send him home to his parents.  They say that grandkids are a parent's revenge ;D

Congrats,
Wait til ya get NINE of them, like me....the last was as good as the first. I started giving each grand kid a Silver American Eagle when born and the new one each year on their birthday....it's gotten to be kinda a cool tradition, and both the parents and the kids look foward to them. My first one is turning 10 this year so I thioght I would give them a 1/4 oz gold eagle along with the silver.
