Major 2

to consider the Ruger Montado for CWC ?

or should I just go with a GP100 ?

Reason being I'm very comfortable & familiar with SA's & I prefer 6 shots .... I have both 45 & 38/357 CAS guns

when planets align...do the deal !

They may be a bit slower and hold less ammo than semi-autos but I'm more comfotable with a SA I say go with what you're most comfortable with when you CC.

Been thinking about the same thing.  I have been practicing with my Montado quite a bit.  Nice pistol.  But I have n=been practicing with others as well.

I think a GP100 is a bit too much gun to be carrying as a CCW weapon.  You should look at the SP101 in 357 mag.  Smaller frame gun with the same punce as the GPseries.   I even find my SP101 to be a bit too heavy at times so I got the Charter arms undercover lite in 38 sp.          Not to be confused with Bud Lite.   ;D
