Went to EMF today to pick up my gun, and Debbie was showing me some of the new stuff....Some really  neat Derringers, 22, 22mag and 38sp
A Combo set of a 92 and GW in Brass and Stainless, they really looked sweet. And Top's creation, a Great Western, with 1860 triggerguard/backstrap and some checkered grips.

The guns are really neat. If any of them float yer boat, give them a call and make a deal

Thanks Curley. I'm interested in that Remington but would like to hear from someone who's actually seen one.

I like that stainless derringer with the white grips. Or is it brushed nickel?

Curley Cole

I am 99% sure it in nickel. It is the one I am interested in too. has a nice feel to it..

I will keep you posted and see if I can get more pictures.

Curley -

Love your pics.  You got a steady hand (or solid tripod!).  I can't even settle the argument between me and my camera as to what's in focus...

I'm kinda partial to EMF as I know you are.  I was thinkin' that with your passion for both kinds of shoooting, you've got a great opportunity to do some barterin'.  Now wouldn't that be fun - shoot more pics of their guns and maybe get another of their guns to shoot?!

I've got my excuses and I'm stickin' to 'em.

The thought has crossed my mind, however, I actually do what I do cuz I enjoy it. I have had a relationship with EMF since about 1979. I wouldn't want you all to think I am saying what I am saying because I am getting "paid for it" It is better that I just give you guys the honest facts "as I see it"

I also do the same for RedDog Leather, Paull does all my leather work. I also have some of my pix on Knudsen (Golden Gate hats) in fact they just put up one of me yesterday, and Buffalo Brothers put up pix of the GW2 with their grips.

EMF knows the value of "word of mouth" advertising, and that is one of the reasons they have been around for over 50 years. And I hope another 50...

Well, I will get off my soap box, and I will probably be going down to EMF to take a few more pix next week..

and thanks for giving me positive feedback on my photography...BTW, it is or should I say was a steady hand, about the only time I use a tripod is when I am going to be in the pix. as of late my hands are not as steady due to arthritis, and that is a frustration to me, I have always felt a freedom in my camera when not attached to a trypod...
