From what I have been able to glean from various boards Goex Cartridge is one of the dirtiest BP's. What are you folks using and how often do you have to clean between shots?

Thanks

In my view, I like Swiss1½ BP.  It seems to be lots cleaner than Goex or Dupont which I still have a bit of.  In my 45-75, I am using only 72 grains and just a tad of compression.  Works for me.

Goex express both in 2 and 3f are very clean burning.
I shoot alot of Cartridge, don't find it all that dirty, but it can turn in some really good accuracy.
Will be testing some grafs powder, which is supposed to be Schuetzen in a different can , this week if all goes according to plan.

We can't get Goex of here in the UK so I can't comment. Of the brands we have then Swiss is by far the cleanest. We generally use Swiss #2 and Swiss #4 (that's 2f and 1.5f to you....  :)  ). Swiss 2 (3f) is good and very clean but fouls out terribly even in our meagre sun of summertime!.

I like Goex Express better than the Swiss.  Swiss seems to develop a rather hard fouling - but we don't have an abundance of humidity here in New Mexico. ::)  I think that humidity has a strong effect on what will work for you.
