Reb Tyree, reporting for duty, currently in Iraq, serving as an SFC with the U.S. Army Reserve. I post this wire from near Baghdad, Iraq. Have been gone from the States since Jan 08, unable to post anything till now. Been in and out of the IZ (Green Zone) since march. Sure wish I had my Remingtons or my 1860 Colts to have fun with. Sitting in the Red Zone. Yeap, traded my fun guns for an M-4 and an M-9. Will be posted here until Feb 09. Anyone have a statis on the Dept of the Pacific? Seems like I've missed alot!!! Got to run for now!

Where are you at exactly? I was at Slayer but got to run down Route Irish about 3-4 times a week to the Green Zone.

Know what you mean about the Remingtons or Colts. I would have dearly loved to had a Sharps when I was there (long story about a drive-by shooter each night).

Keep you head (and other parts of your anatomy) down and make it back to the Dept of the Pacific safely.

Reb Tyree - how's incoming on the Victory these days? Wasn't too bad when I was there but the dirtbags woud get pesky on occasion.

Hang in there and feel proud that army tours are a good year but end quick enough. I hear tell the USAF, USMC & USN keep getting their lengthened and ours (Army) might be shortened. We'll see.

I'm not there now. I'm on a fly-away team to go back when necessary, but haven't done a tour since 04.

Doing time at Camp Dublin, VBC, Iraq. I get out and about to Irish a few times a week and AGW. Incoming is about the same. Hot and dusty today. Unable to log into CAS City most of the time.
