Can anyone give me info on dissasmbley of this pistol?,  I am aware they are complex. Is there anyone out there who works on them? I think the pin between the two screws in the frame is bent, when the gun is cocked you can feel this pin "wiggle", and you have to apply a little forward pressue on the trigger to get it to cycle, but it does so on it's own if you know what I mean

St. George

You're right - the little Colt Lightnings aren't the most entertaining revolver to work on - their design out-stripped the metallurgy of their springs.

Get a copy of Dave Chicoine's 'Gunsmithing the Guns of the Old West' - I believe Barnes & Noble has them - and proceed slowly, taking note of the relationships of parts.

Good Luck.
