Two Flints

Hello SSS,

I recently purchased this back issue of Arms Collecting, Vol. 24, No. 4, Nov.1986, which contained the article, American Breech-Loading Firearms in the Canadian Service, 1866-1872, written by Rene Chartrand. I only reproduced the text on the Spencer; other breech-loading firearms mentioned in this article included Peabody Rifles, and Starr Carbines.   Two Flints

They are doing a reenactment of the Finian raid on Ridgway this year.  It will take place at old Fort Erie in Ontario on June 14 & 15.  I have not decide yet if I am going but if I go I will be taking my Spencer carbine.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a handsome, and well preserved body; but rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out and loudly proclaiming...."WOW!... What a ride!"
