Fine and Elegant Spencer Slide Action Shotgun, Deluxe Grade

Serial no. 568, 12 gauge, 30-inch Damascus barrel; hand engraved maker and patent marking on right side of frame; left side of frame with game scene panel; fine scroll engraving on frame, trigger guard, and carrier block; maker marking on top of barrel breech; blued, with case-hardened frame. Varnished and checkered semi-pistol grip select walnut sock with checkered hard rubber butt plate.

Condition: Fine. 98% finish; minor marks; light wear only on upper tang and trigger guard strap.

Note: Possibly made as a display piece. Note Damascus composition, not only to barrel, but magazine tube. Very high quality of engraved decoration, as well as stocks, and elegant barrel and magazine tube.

I have to admit, that is a darn pretty piece of art.
The wood is gorgeous - fine figure.
And yes I also like the damascus mag tube.
And the case hardened frame....
I could go on & on....

The shame of it is, if I bought it, I would have to shoot it.
