Wing Dividers vs. Stitch Groover...and Bourbon

I will also watch Chuck's DVD again to study his technique.

I am glad this topic came up, do you guys case your leather before using you stich groover to cut you stich groove?
I don't have a clue what you are talking about Wing Dividers, i guess I will look that up.

Here you go. some have pencil holders, some don't.

Ace, I do case my leather before I cut the groove. My groover seems to clog up if I dont, and makes it kinda choppy. DM

Not Saying Dalton's wrong, but it may be a case of listening to your groover. Mine seems to get choppy if I DO case it.

A BIG thanks to all for the advice AS to the wing dividers I got you, I have them, just didn't called them wingdivers. I pick up a small one at a flea Market Made in Germany with the adjustment wheel in the middle, 

You Pards are the Best I am going to try the wet method to see if it makes a diff for me!

Maker's Mark is some fine whiskey. I'm afraid if I drink rum while doing old west-era leather work it may come out looking more pirate-era.
