Sir, I have the pleasure to report that I got to test fire and then fire my WWII modified Berthier Carbine for accuracy last weekend.

At 75 yds I am getting 3-5 shots within a 2 inch group.  Shooting at a likeness of Ole King George I might add:)!!

This is shooting the gun as is stock and using 8mm lebel ammo from GAD custom Cartridges.

Bernold from GAD is sending my a box with just lead bullets to try my hand with as well and will sell just the bullets if I like how they shoot.

I highly recommend Bernold to anyone with odd ammo weapons - his loads for my 11mm French handgun are tack drivers.

He loads smokeless and black and for all weapons - from rifles, pistols and shotguns.

Now to practice loading my WWI variant with the three round clips with no magazine body and getting used to bolt mechanism for faster shooting.

I plan on taking this rifle into the Deer stand with me this fall/winter - its compact size combined with the 8mm lebel cartridge may make it a great deer stand rifle.
