What is the best way to get the bolt seperated from the firing pin extention there is no pin?

Yes there is.  The Extension rod now has a "flat" milled in the side.  There is a small rocker plate extending from the side of the Breach Block up into the Extension Rod.  The plate pivots on the Link Pin.  You have to drive the link pin out the opposite side and the rocker plate will slide out.
