Just a note to let those of you who know him , that Gordon 'Coop" Cooper is not doing well.
In hospital  and very serious .
Hope for better news . I plan on visiting his wife on Tuesday and will try and see Coop at the same time  although his visits are now limited to family only.

Will keep you posted .

Update Tuesday May 20th

Spoke to Coops missus this morning .
He is not expected to get over this one.
She said he is very low and not responsive.

Peace to  both Coop and Inez.

Gordon "Coop' Cooper passed this morning.

I only met him over the past few years , during his battle with the Big C.

He was a good supporter of CAS . Strong in getting things running here in Nova Scotia.

During our conversations he spoke of the great times he had 'out West' with fellow shooters.

He had spent all winter planning on heading out to the Nationals later this summer. Unfortunately now not to be.

Coop spoke his mind and at times was hard to fathom but his love of the shooting sport and his support for others never failed him.

May he Rest in Peace  , hope to see him again on the far side of the river.
