Need a length measurement please.

Got my new R&D cylinder on the way from Midway for my 1860 Army. Need to know whats the longest over all length 45 colt I can get away with. Like to have some ready before it gets here so I can fit it and head out to the range. Thanks.

THe max overall length shown in most reloading manuals will do, I load all mine to the "standard" Colt length, and have no problems.  Also easily chambered is the shorter 45 Schofield round.
