Not having a copy of Packing Iron, you can always look over the sites that all the pards here have to see what they offer and get ideas that way. Most of the rigs there are good solid copies of original designs. The other thing you can do is cruise page by page through the "Leathersmiths.....Show Us Yer Stuff" thread or other threads here for ideas. You find one you like, ask what pattern it was or modify one to have the same look.

Congrats on the Packing Iron. That's a great book. You'll have fun pouring over it for a long time.
