Hi All,

I'm wanting to buy a Schofield style revolver, but all that legal brief stuff on some of the companies' barrels just mortally offends me.  I'm having a lot of trouble finding out which ones do or do not.  So far none of the sellers I've tried to contact will respond, which leads me to believe most of them must have it.

I've read the Navy Arms does have the markings.  Can anyone tell me which of the Laramie, Cimarron and Ubertis have or don't have the markings?

Thanks for any help.

I've got two Stoeger imported, Uberti made Schofields, one manufactured in 2006, the other in '07. Both just have "Stoeger-Accokeek, MD-A. Uberti-Italy" and caliber designation on the barrel.

No "legalese bible" on either of my Laramies or my Navy Arms New Model Russian.
Frankly, I don't recall this kind of abomination on any of the Uberti-made guns I have.

None present on the late-manufacture Smith & Wesson Schofield's either.
