Oh, We all told what we got that made us happy for Christmas, Now tell us the BEST present you ever gave, and who to....

My mom loved a perfume called "Blue Carnation", and of course they quit making the darn stuff. I went to a perfume shop in Disneyland, and they had a formula similar, and they made her a little batch. Well, don't know if it smelled at all  like hers, but she was thrilled that I went to so much effort for her......

Wish I could do it again....

my ex-wife locked me out on Christmas Eve many moons ago and instead of waiting for her to cool down and let me back in I just kept going and never looked back.  I guess it was a great present for both of us. ;D

I think it was my first Christmas after my separation from my husband. This was long before I heard anything about Cowboy Action Shooting.

My son was still little. He went to bed and I was up until 3 am, building his present on the big dining room table. It took several large Lego kits to complete it. When he got up Christmas morning, Fort Legoredo was waiting for him. It had bad guys, Fort defenders, a sheriff, a banker, a bank (complete with an "exploding" wall so the bad guys could get to the gold in the safe), a jail, and a headquarters, with lifting roofs and stairs up to the path on the wall of the fort. Will loved it and it stayed up long after Christmas was over. He tells me it was his favorite Christmas present, ever.

I think that the best present I ever gave was a handmade cedar chest that I made for my ex wife one Christmas when we were first starting out.
She never thanked me or told me she liked it... but when we divorced she damn shore wouldn't let me take it with me!

That thing took me over 100 hours to make.

I don't know if it was the best gift I ever gave, but it was the most appreciated. It was this year, it was an early Christmas present.

My girlfriend loves the show "Forever Plaid" ( http://www.musicalheaven.com/f/forever_plaid.shtml )

In town was the Christmas version of the show called, "Plaid Tidings" ( http://www.clevelandseniors.com/entertainment/plaid.htm )

We went last Sunday.

Beautiful harmony, great acting and dancing, side-spliting humor.

As a matter of fact it was probably one of the better gifts I ever gave myself.
